Monday Check-in

Good Morning Everyone!

I evidently got too much rest yesterday, because I have no desire for sleep and finally just got back up.  It is 2 am and I am ready to go.  How much you wanna bet that I will be ready for bed tonight EARLY!

Today is the office covered dish Christmas party.  I will be taking meat balls as my contribution.
My office is right off the kitchen so there will be activity and food all day long.  For the first time, this year I doubt the food will be bothering me.  I look forward to all the employees dropping by to visit as they help themselves to the feast in the next room.  Fred and I distributed my "goody boxes"  to each desk on Saturday, so I know I will hear for everyone about their "surprise".  They always love them and I enjoyed making them.

Tonight is another Christmas party to attend.  It will be buffet style so I can move around and socialize.  There will be a lot of people attending that I haven't seen since last year's party, so I am looking forward to visiting and catching up with everyone.

Today I will commit to increasing my water intake and keeping the coffee under control.  I have been able to cut my intake this weekend and hope to continue the trend.  Since the spa is out of the question for today, I will try to be more active and climb the stairs a few more times then usual.  We don't have an elevator, but I will need to invent reasons to visit with the girls down stairs a couple of time today to get in more movement.

Good Morning!! I didn't sleep well last night which is really odd for me. I'm curbing the caffeine gradually and so far have only had my one travel mug on the way to work this morning. I bought a new 1/2 gallon pitcher at Dollar Tree yesterday and brought that in full of decaf tea. I used to fo that all the time but somehow got away from it.

Enjoy the Christmas Parties and luncheons. If your day is like mine was yesterday you'll enjoy the smells and sounds of Christmas more than normal.

Iris,  I only had 1/2 of my coffee mug at work today.  I just did not feel like coffee today.  I must be sick!

The "luncheon" started at 9am and lasted all day.  The food was lined up in the breakroom and on tables outside my office.  Fun was had by all, considering is was the workday for hades.

Both Fred and I decided to pass on the buffet get together this evening since it was not an rsvp event and was held at a restaurant.  I think we are partied out and Christmas hasn't even arrived. 

We are both feeling our age tonight.  I'm sure it will be an early night for us both.
