Update about medicaid and southern surgical

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let anyone know who is interested in going to southern surgical and they have medicaid, they no longer take medicaid. I called today because a friend of mine wants to have the surgery and she called Rocky Mount, where southern surgical also sees people, and they told her they no longer take medicaid. I called the main office in Greenville today and they told me the same thing. Just wanted to let everyone know. Take care!!

That is sad, but all too many times, it's all about the almighty dollar!  Besides, they know ECU will take Medicaid patients.
