Saturday Check-in

I'm a bit later in my check-in today, but my morning started out in a run to the Chiropractor for my poor DH.  He has been hurting and has had no sleep for 2 days and finally begged me to take him to the chiropractor.  I knew he was hurting when he asked because until today he did not believe in them.  He is now a convert.  He has an inflamed sciatica.  They performed a lot of therapy both hot and cold along with a massage and he is now finally sleeping and I am here relaxing over my laptop until I need to get to the church for the singing Christmas Tree tonight.

I committed myself to 3 days of water aerobics or alternative exercise this week and I fulfilled that commitment.  I have felt so much better this last week and hope I can now say I am on the "upside of life" again.  It was going to be a miserable holiday if my emotions and health continued as it had been these last several months.

The aqua Zumba class was FANTASTIC last night!   There were only 2 participants along with the instructor.  I got some much needed individualized instruction and a great workout to boot.
The instructor made a point to tell me how proud she was that I could keep up and  able to stay for the whole class.  She asked what I had done to loose the weight and was surprised when I told her about the RNY.

With the DH feeling under the weather this morning, my entire plans for the afternoon will be rescheduled for another day.  I think I will just relax for a couple of hours and then take a long hot bath before I get dressed for church.

Hope you all have a GREAT day!

Good for you for keeping up with the zumba water arobics.
Lee has been on sick leave for 3 weeks.
It has changed my schedule as far as working out.
I have tried to keep on trackk but I have been doing the leg work taking him to the doctor ect..
He returns to work on Monday light duty only.
I am looking forward to resuming my workout schedule..
Acupuncture made be beliver out of me I have sciatica too but so far havent had a flare up in years.
One thing that helps me is to just do it and not think about it.
                                                                    Love & Light,
                                                                            Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?
