I forgot to mention that he said if it was failed due to weight gain that he would often do a distal RNY.  If there were pouch issues (and not just weight regain) then perhaps he feels differently.  Again, I didn't get into specifics as I was just asking him random things and it didn't apply to me.

I am sending a million hugs your way! My family and I were trying to decide between Dr. Sudan and Dr. Elariny. I told my mom about your posts and we have both agreed that I should go with Dr. Elariny. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH; the random questions that you asked were some of the questions that I was going to ask him on this Friday when I went to the WLS @ Duke!
