I made it through LBL surgery

Hello everyone, well I made it.  Had my LBL yesterday and I can say honestly that this is one painful surgery, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.  My DH is taking great care of me.  I'm taking my pain meds on time and tring to eat plenty of protein, but I really don't have much of an appetite.  She took of 6 pounds of skin; it's hard to really tell the results yet since I'm in the girdle from the knees to by breasts.  I have 4 drains that are pinned up in the front so I look like I'm about 7 months pregnant

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.  Right now, I'm thankful for Demerol!

Alice, I hope your pain goes away soon and that you have great results from your LBL,

I'm so glad things went well!  I've been thinking about you!  Hope the pain doesn't tick around too long.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations on your LBL.
I know when I had my pannus removed it was so good to have that off and the freedom it gave me is great.
