I'm so excited because I got a call from Dr. Enochs office today saying that my insurance had approved my surgery.  :-)

That's great! Good luck as you proceed with this journey.

I'm so sorry that you are having trouble.  Have you talked to the doctor to see what he suggest?

Having my Gastric Bypass is/was/has been and will always be the BEST thing I have ever done for myself. I'm nearly 15 months out  from surgery and down nearly 100 lbs. I've gone from a size 24/26 to a 14/16. While my scales have slowed down to a snails pace - my life hasn't slowed down. I honestly never realized how much I was missing out on. The fantastic part of my journey has been saying goodbye to Diabetes. Just prior to surgery I was at the point of getting ready to go on insulin - I haven't had a high blood sugar reading since the day before I was released from the hospital.

I feel FANTASTIC!!!! I can only hope and pray that your surgery brings you a portion of this feeling. You'll be scheduled for surgery before you know it. Spend as much time as you can educating yourself about the surgery and the changes that are coming your way.

We're here to help in any way that we can. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk. I'm on here mainly Monday - Friday during the day.
