sugar free foods

Ok.  I went today and bought a few groceries and things that I will use after surgery.
I have learned from all you wonderful OH friends that I may not have the same taste for things after surgery that I do now, so I didn't stock up on any of my favorites.

I did buy

Resealable boxes of both chicken and beef broth.
A jar of apple sauce.   (I forgot to watch for low sugar)
A couple of cans of cream of Chicken soup
a few flavors of sugar free jello
a couple of vanilla/chocolate sugar free pudding mixes.

Now, when I went to the dairy section, I could not find any sugar free yogurt.  I know that I can have low sugar, but I could not remember the magic number for sugar per serving.  I think it's 5 or less?   What do you all suggest?

Also, I couldn't find flavor free protein powder.  I wanted that to add onto my food.

So, tomorrow I'm going back out  and will head to the Vitamin Shoppe for the powder, and to the grocery for sf applesauce and what ever yogurt you all suggest.

I use Unjury unflavored protein. You have to order it online at www.unjury.com. You can order samples to try first if you want then get the ones that work for you best. Right after surgery I did really well with the chicken soup flavour. It served both as a good protein and a warm clear liquid. It tasted good just as it was though now when I use it I add some cooked veggies and a little salt and pepper.
