Do you care to share Successes for this week!

This weekend was my birthday weekend.  Since we had Friday off from school, my husband and I decided to take the girls to Busch Gardens and then go on to Richmond to spend the rest of the weekend with my sister.  The last time I was at BG was in May with my oldest daughter on a school trip.  I think I posted about how nice it was not being scared of not fitting in the rides.  This time it was so cool not only being able to fit in the rides but being able to ride the kiddie rides with them!  There was one ride in May that I still had trouble with...the Katapult.  It had a car that has a door that closes with a bar on the inside.  The bar made it difficult to sit comfortably.  This time we rode with absolutely no problems.  The bar didn't even touch my stomach.  And the pictures my husband and other daughter took of me...I didn't even recognize myself!  We had a blast this weekend and I was finally able to be part of the fun instead of sitting back watching.

BTW,  I was really hoping to be to the 100lb point by today (my bday).  Didn't quite make it.  I'm at 96 but that's ok.  I'll be there soon!

I had a similar experience at Bush Gardens. I can not wait to go back and be able to ride everything they do. Great job! I have fibromyalgia as well so sometimes rides wipe me out for a few days. I pray this surgery will help that as well. I guess only time will tell. 9days from today I will embark on a new chapter in my life. I can not wait. Great job on your success.
