I had my 2 year Surgiversary on Monday and went to see Dr. Chapman on Tuesday for my 2 year followup.  He was very pleased with my progress, we reviewed my labs which showed my vit D was low so I am going to take 50,000 units once a week for 8 weeks.  Otherwise everything was great!  I'm so glad I made this journey and I would do it again in a heartbeat!  My weight was within one pound of where I was last year for my one year follow up.  After my LBL next month, I hope to be in the NORMAL weight range.  My body has decided that for now, 143-145 is where it likes to stay.  I can eat pretty much anything I want in small quantities and keep my weight in that range so I'm blissfully happy!

I'm really happy to have the LBL coming but nervous.  I look at it as the next leg of this journey that started about 28 months ago.  It's been a wonderful ride!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

I have completed my history/physical pre-op appointment! Set for surgery on 11/11/09! I have maintained my weight for surgery! I was borderline and it was important for me to stay right where I was. I am getting so excited. I am having RNY with hiata hernia repair and Ventral/incisional hernia repair. Dr. Pender was really great today. He took his time and answered any questions we had. It won't be long now.   Danielle

Getting ready for Atlanta and getting all I need in order to go on our trip.
Funny thing is I ordered some really nice looking tops for Atlanta from Coldwater Creek but.... I ordered 3x can you belive I did that LOL
I think I did this because my Halloween costume arrived last week the size range was 16-22 so I thought ok I will have room to take it in if needed.
It fit perfect accept the arms.
My husband was so helpful and he took it upon himself to help me we added more fabric in both arms and he hand sewed on my costume for 3 days during his free time.
He would have me try it on while working on it and making adjustments as needed.
The problem without a doubt was the hanging bat wings.
I went to a halloween party as.... Mother Nature

I am happy to announce we have a new family member.
I was contacted by Noel's breeder asking if I wanted her brother.
I jumped at the chance and off to Raliegh we went.
I named Noel's brother Merlin.
I never thought in all my life I would have two Congo African Greys.

I am now a unit leader with Avon I would have never thought I would be having so much fun and enjoying all the products.
I have been putting my heart and soul into making this work and it looks like it is working and can only get better from this point on.

I got called into work a week ago and I had not seen my manager for a while.  She saw me and said "you are melting!!!"  Next thing I knew she was walking around the corner with a new pile of scrubs 2 sizes smaller and guess what they fit!!!!!   And were even baggie.  WOW!

They had to special order some larger scrubs for some of us fluffier girls, I was so happy to hand mine off and be able to grab them off our cart from now on.  .

Hi Kimberly,

What a wonderful WOW moment. It's great when we are able to 'see' and enjoy the incredible quality of life moments, like being able to fit into 'normal' sizes. The scale is one measure, but the quality of life changes are at least as important as the numbers we see on the scale.

Congratulations!

I look forward to seeing less of you soon,
