First Appointment with Surgeon

I saw Dr. Melkonian yesterday.  I really like him.  He went over everything and answered my questions.  He would like me to lose 40 pounds prior to surgery but he definitely wants me under 400.  For my benefit of less risks.

I have an appointment with Nutritionist Friday.  Getting my info from PCP today.  Called to schedule psych evaluation but they have not returned call.  The doctors office gave me a list of psychs so if I dont hear back from this first one I will call another. If anyone has any suggestions of psychs in the Charlotte area please let me know.

I am still attending weigh****chers to lose the 40 pounds.  Hopefully the nutritionist give some extra advice.  I feel good since I am working towards it now instead of waiting.

Congratulations on starting your journey now and not waiting until you have surgery. Waiting is a big mistake many make, so I think you will find yourself ahead of the game.
