Stepping out of the daily routine is not necessarily a bad thing!
I just returned from a great fun trip visiting family that hadn't seen me in several years. That in itself was fun and rewarding. But the big win for me is that although I was off schedule with my eating and all I still managed to eat fairly healthy though testing the waters a bit out there and came home 3 pounds lighter. How did that work? I am glad to be home and now am gearing up for Atlanta. Same time zone and WLS related so I think the eating right will not be nearly as difficult.

I'm happy that you found you can do well even on a trip. I know I was scared of my first time away and actually still take as many precautions and do extra "food" packing every trip now. I am sure the Atlanta trip will be ever so much easier with the people you will be around and since it is specifically for all of us that have gone through this.
