I'm home!
Hey everyone! Thanks for the best wishes. I just got home not too long ago, and Im so blessed, my mother flew in from Detroit to help take care of my 13 month old angel. Im sore, but its tolerable. I have stopped my pain meds as of last night because they were making me sooooo sick to my stomach I couldnt even get up and walk. After not taking them I feel more pain, but I can walk, and thats been helping. I feel very stiff when I wake up from sleeping, so I walk alot. Not too far, and not over doing it, but enough to help losen things up. Everything went well. I didnt have a drain tube, and I have one area with staples, the left side, the most painful.
It was weired while IN the hospital they would only let me have 2 oz of water an hour. I was SO THIRSTY is was insane. I was sneaking extra water at any chance I could, very small amount, but enough to make me feel better.
Well the house is empty, the family went to olive garden, and I dont even care lol. Im going to take a warm shower, and relax for a bit.
Im loving being home! I missed my daughter and not being able to hold her makes me sad lol.
Okay Im done for now. Thanks again for the best wishes! I cant wait to start loosing. I have gained 3 LBS, Im guessing form the IV's so Im not stressing, I will be weighing myself every friday. So keep your eye balls out for me!

Congratulations and welcome to the loser's bench!
Keep walking and sipping. Dehydration is your biggest enemy right now, so sip, sip, sip and walking not only helps you to feel better, but also helps to protect your from developing pulmonary embolisms as well. All around, it's a good thing.
Take care and take it easy,
Barbara
