Duodenal Switch - 10 years out

I am hoping to speak with someone who had the Duodenal Switch 8-10 years ago or more.  I am going for a consultation in 2-3 weeks and this is the surgery I am considering.  I'm hoping to find out about the longterm effects of this surgery, the longterm mortality rates, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope that you'll get some response from the board here, but I'm not aware of anyone that is that far out with a DS... You might try contacting the DS board and the Grads boards to see if they have anyone that has the experience you are looking for.
