At one year here I am!

I remember all too well what its like to be near the beginning of it all. It is kind of exciting once the decision is made to change the rest of our lives this way. I don't see my surgeon as much as I would like too since I lost my health insurance recently but I will get my yearly checkup as soon as I can. I don't think the OOP office visit is out of reach.

Congratulations on your surgiversary and your weight loss. I am glad you have had no complications.
You are an inspiration to me as I just had surgery 9/17.

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

Its really surprising how fast the first year seems to go. You will see. Just be sure to get your protein and nutrition as well as possible and make sure you stay hydrated. The road ahead is really kind of fun. It is definitely an adventure.
