I was denied by bcbs for PS so I took a deep breath and sent an email to Dr.Schwarz
For those who dont know I had my panius removed after the first 300lbs.
No regrets.
One major problem is my Mons Pubis!!!
I feel wonderful but.. my husband says the extra skin is a turn off so no play time for Anniep59 not a good thing!!!!!
So I will keep you posted on the outcome.
If I can go though wls and possible PS  what will the future hold ?
I decided to share this becuse I can be totally honest here.

Hang in there Annie. Just because insurance won't pay for it it doesn't mean you can't have it done. You may be able to save up for it as an out of pocket procedure. I have even heard of certain types of loans for surgery. I wouldn't borrow money for it myself but I sure would start a savings account for it.

Hi Ann,
I heard back from the doctor himself OMG I am tickled pink and he also said he has 100lbs to loose himself and..... his spelling was not perfect in his email.
Lee cant figure out why this makes me happy LOL it is because it proves the doctor is just like everyone else.

Annie,

I feel your pain girl, I also need PS but can't afford it.  After I get this dental stuff done I'm going to check into it again.  I just found out about "CareCredit" it is a "Credit" type account but they have a special going on right now with no interest for 18 months...  You can apply online if you're interested.

Anyway, keep us posted.  I know you'll figure out a way!!!!

Hugs!

I was going to tell you the same thing about Care Credit.  I have used it for dental work.  It worked just fine.  I had only 12 months not 18 to pay it off before they added interest so I made sure I did.  Maybe if you could start saving and then once you have some saved up do the rest with that it could work out for you.
I am looking for a part time job so that I can start saving right now for my ps.  My husband and I both are working but with college tuition for my son, extras are well....just that, extras.  Some how or another PS falls into the extras catagory.  Good luck and thanks for sharing.  It makes it easier for the rest of us to share as well.
