Surgeon in Winston-Salem

Hello,
I'm new to this board. I live in Virginia but work in North Carolina and that is where my insurance covers. So.. does anyone know of surgeon in Winston? It is the closest 'big' city to me.

yes, i had RNY surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  My surgeon is Adolfo (Fuzz) Fernandez.  WFUBMC has a wonderful bariatric surgery department.  WFUBMC is a center of excellence, insurance companies like that.  they have 2 surgeons but like i said Fernandez did my surgery on April 27 this year.

The entire team is so great.  I would definitely check out this group.  You wont be sorry.  I have never met an unsatisfied patient.

Arlene is RIGHT! Dr. Fernandez and his staff are the best! I am 11 months out, 98 pounds lighter and had no complications. I have all the support I need from this wonderful program.

Dr. Fernandez is absolutely wonderful! I had a different surgeon, but live in Winston and go to his support group. He's fantastic.

There is a good program here in Greensboro as well through Central Carolina Surgery and Wesley Long Hospital. And they have won their COE status like the one in Winston has. I do hear good things about the doc in Winston but I love my doc (Dr. David Newman) here and at about a year out I have no complaints except that I wish I had done it sooner.
