My legs

I had a consult at the vein lab at UNC yesterday.
It was confirmed yes I have a classic case of lymphadema.
I always knew I had extremly large legs all my life but never knew the name till I started looking into wls and reading on OH.
In two weeks they want to do an ultra sound to check for clots but one doctor felt I did not have clots but they want to make sure.
I told them about the compression hose I wear 24/7 and the pump.
My problem with the pump is you can only do one leg at a time.
The doctor said they can look into getting a pump for both legs now that would be great and send me to the brace shop to look into getting adjustable compression stockings.
So I am staying the course and keeping the faith.

Hi Annie,

I'm glad to hear that you are getting the issues with your legs addressed. I'm sure that you'll be glad to get a dual pump and the new compression hose will likely help some more too.

I will be watching out for what they do to help your legs. With all the working out you do I know it makes it better but I think there should be more that you can do. Its good you are looking into it.

Thxs Ann,
Actually what I have read there is no cure for my condition.
My legs have gone down alot since surgery and my feet dont swell any more.
If I could get a pump that would do both legs Oh My how good that would feel.
