Southern Surgical Folks, Hospital Stay?

How long did you stay in the hopital with LAP RNY? For those that were complication free. Kisha

I had no complications, and I had my surgery on Wednesday and was home Friday AM.  Not bad at all.  Dr. Mann was my doc.  Good luck with your surgery.

Hi!  I had Dr. Mac and I was there 2 days.  No complications.  The only complaint I had was about some of the nursing staff ignoring the fact that I needed/wanted to walk.  A few seemed burdened by the fact that they had to unhook me so I just started doing it myself and walked, and walked, and walked!  After I left the hospital I developed pneumonia but no comps while I was in.  Good Luck.  BTW, I work in Jax!  Hi neighbor!

Surgery on Friday morning and discharged around lunchtime on Sunday.

I went in for surgery on thursday and came home on monday. I had no complications with my surgery. The only reason I had to stay in the hospital so long is because i had to get a trach put in due to the dr not being able to put the tube down my throat. But as for the surgery, everything went fine. Dr. Mann is my surgeon and you are in great hands. Best of luck!!!
