The seasoned traveler returns

OMG what a trip we had.
The things I want to share is there is lots and lots of walking when traveling.
I know if I did this trip before my surgery I would have to do it in a wheelchair.
I was able to do it all and what a great feeling that was.
Going through security was a very new experince but after going through it with all the other people I felt very safe on the planes.
While on our trip I had to buy some more shoes half a size smaller because I was walking out of my shoes LOL new shoes still feel a bit loose.
Eatting and food choices not so easy but Bubbles and I did what we could and always tried to make good choices.
Getting in all my fluid was hard but I did make sure I got in at least 32oz each day.
My inlaws noticed what a small amounts I ate they were worried I was sick.
I assured them I was very happy with a small amount of food.
My sister in law said the first night we went to dinner she said "Annie you did not eat  a pound of food"
I explained I will never be able to eat a pound of food ever again.
At least and not one time.

I had several eye opening experinces watching family dynamics.
Going on this trip gave me lots of new experinces and learned some new things.
It also made me reaffirm my love and devotion to my wonderful husband.
Lee truly is a diamond in the rough.
Everything worked out better than eveer with my pet sitters they did a wonderful job with all my babies!!
My house was clean when we got home everything was in order and all the fur and feathered babies were happy.
Next trip we are Alanta Bound......in November.
Thank you God for my pouch and WLS!!!

Glad to know that you made it there and back safely. Sounds like you had several AHA moments if not  WOW moments. Who knew our shoe size would go down?

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I think what made a difference for me Barb was for the first time in many moons I felt comfortable around people and strangers.
I felt comfortable in my own body.

Glad you made it there and back safely. It's good to hear walking will get easier.
Good for you for taking care of yourself and making good choices while you were gone.
I bet all your animals were glad to see you. And I bet you were glad to see them too!

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

You and Lee are such a sweet, wonderful couple!  I love seeing the two of you interact with one another so lovingly and affectionately :)

Thanks so much for the compliment!  We really enjoyed taking care of your babies and home!  Come November when the OH conference rolls around, we'll be ready to do it again! :)
