More sleep.....

Well....went today and picked up my C-PAP machine.  Guess I'll give it a whirl tonight.  Hopefully it will help me sleep much better and maybe calm my nerves.  Seems the closer I get to getting a date, the more nervous I get.  Still trying to scrape up the money to pay for my part of the surgery.

You will do just fine.  The c pap takes a little time to adapt. However, you will fine you will feel more rested.  Also if you take a calcium supplement at night it also will help with yr sleep.  Do not be nervous. You are taking steps to improve your future:)

Hi Monette,

While it takes a bit to get used to it, I'm sure that you'll feel so much better when you start sleeping with the CPAP. In a few months, you'll probably lose right out of it...

Re: nerves... It's much more common to have a case of the nerves than not... Not only are you about to have major surgery to rearrange your insides, but once you have the surgery, there's no going back. While that's what we are all looking for, it's still scary. That said, I have rarely ever heard anyone regret the decision.

Wising you all the best,

Barbara
