Hi,

I am new to the NC board. I have posted on the RNY board before. I am having RNY with Dr. Enochs. I have my consult with him this Thursday. I have already had my NUT consult with Shelly Wegman. I also have my Psych evaluation next Thursday the 20 with Melissa Butler. I am very excited about the whole process.

For the patients of Dr. Enochs, how was your experience?

Welcome to the NC forum. I am sure I'm a bit prejudiced, but I have to say that I think is just about one of the nicest, most supportive forums on OH. 

I run a fairly large support group located in Raleigh and I have people that use a variety of programs and Dr's. We have quite a few that have used Dr. Enochs and I would say that for the most part people have been very satisfied with their experiences. Every program has their strengths and weaknesses, but overall it seems to be a good program that is getting better all the time. I understand that they are in process of getting certified as an ASBS Center of Excellence and that is no small feat and means that they have a robust program. 

You welcome to join my support group any time. We have a general meeting once a month and special interest groups that meet throughout the month. You are welcome to join any and all that interest you. You can get information about upcoming meetings at http://www.meetup.com/nc-wls.
