Can't get Dr. to return my calls

I had an upper GI last Wednesday. I was told by the PA to call and request that the doctor be given a copy of the results and for him to call me back. I have done this 3 times and still haven't heard from the doctor. I am suffering from severe acid reflux, and having to sleep sitting up. I had a test done a few months ago and I had the same problem. I'm beginning to wonder if it's me as I can't see a doctor treating his patients this way and still have patients. The office staff doesn't want to give me an appointment because the doctor is supposed to call me with the results. WTF?? I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'm at my witts end.

Call and ask for Lisa or leave a message on the general nurse line. I know it's a work around but it tends to get results.  I haven't had any problems with the staff thus far.  They've returned my calls within hours but I haven't tried to reach Dr. Enochs just Lisa or a nurse.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are experiencing so much physical discomfort and frustration. 

I hope that you get answers and resolution soon.

 

I wouldnt think that you would talk to the dr directly unless you had an appointment...everything should be handled through his nurses...I would think?
