Dr Bauman in Concord

I am wanting to know if anyone has an upcoming surgery with Dr Bauman. He recently had surgery himself but has returned to the office. I am awaiting my surgery date and it seems like everything is just at a stand still. I have been approved as of 7/22/09. I have been told he will return to surgery in Ocober. If you have any info. on this please respond.

Hi, My insurance was sent in on 7/22/09 and I havent heard ANYTHING.  I am sitting on pins and needles and wanting my Realize Band soon!!!  I was told I had to wait til atleast October.  I emailed them yesterday on Exemplo to check on my ins status and havent received a response yet.  I hate that you feel at a stand still.  Sounds like we are in the same boat

 No operations till October?  WOW!  I scheduled my first consult with him a few weeks ago...I can't get in until mid Sept.  I guess I'm gonna have to wait  until after the holidays for surgery if he's that backed up.  I have read so many good things about him and he's a center of excellence so I am willing to wait for him to heal.  Let me know when you get your date.  Good Luck!

I got a response to my email and my surgery for my Realize band has been APPROVED!!!   I wrote back and they said they will be contacting me soon to schedule my surgery.  They had told me earlier it may be Oct.  As long as I have a date, I will atleast see a light at the end of the tunnel!  Dr B is great and worth waiting for! 

He is worth the wait!  Hang in there.  It will be here before you know it.  I remember the waiting, stalled feeling myself.  And it all seems like it was just yesterday.  Keep the faith. 

Well, I just heard from a friend who went for her first appt at Wake Forest/Baptist Hospital and she was told by the Dr there that Dr. B has just had another surgery on his shoulder so it will be an even longer wait for our surgeries!!!    I am so bummed.  I have been trying to keep myself pysched up and now I wonder if I should have went to Wake Forest instead?  Or should I even do this at all?!
