feeling much better

i made through my gall bladder surgery, on Friday Aug 7th.... i came home that night, and not a happy camper.. Everyone has told me that gall bladder surgery is way worst then my gastric by pass.. Dr.Mac told me that my gastric was way worst.. WELL he was WRONG lol... for the first two days after my gastric by pass i had a morphine pump, so i don't remember much after that surgery.. MY gall bladder they gave me loritabe, didn't kill the pain at all, and i came home that same day...so yeah i was uncomfy for a few days. to day i am able to get up and move about with out help and feel like i've done a million crunches.. no pain meds yet today, so for the most part i'm doing GREAT!!!!!!
just wanted to check in and say hi, and i totally made it through surgery again..

Awesome!  I am glad you are better!

I guess it all depends on the person or what ever.  I had my gall bladder out on a thursday and was back to work full time feeling fine on Monday.  In fact by Sunday I was not sore at all.  Just makes you wonder...  I think some surgeons may be more gentle than others.

Annemarie - Like you, my gall bladder surgery was much harder than my RNY.  However, it does sound like you've turned the corner, so it should be much more smooth sailing from here on out.
