I've lost 120 pounds, 52 years old (in menopause) and I'm cold 90% of the time....  A lot of WLS folks I know are the same too.  I do have hot flashes, which these days are actually welcome!

I'm 19 months out... lost almost 170 and am constantly cold.  Hubby is 7 months out and is also cold constantly.  We now keep the AC on 76 or 77 degrees... we used to keep it from 68 to 72 degrees... especially at night while sleeping.  This is the first time in our 35 years of being together that we could agree on a room temperature...

I am cold most of the time now too. I'm almost 7 months out and have lost 103.5 pounds. However with the temperature being 101 today I certainly was not cold. On a good note though, I didn't feel as miserable temperature wise as I have in past summers. Now tonight I would certainly join you in Alaska!! lol.

BTW, good luck with your upcoming surgery. My husband is scheduled for surgery the same day!! I'll be thinking of you. :)

I am only 3 months out, have lost 57 pounds and I have yet to turn my air conditioner on.  Which is a bonus b/c of pay cuts and all!  Anytime I'm in an air conditioned building, I freeze.  I've started carrying a sweater with me everywhere!

I live in the mountains, but it's been hot here too and humid, which is unusual.

good luck to you, and if you make it to Alaska, take pictures...LOL

**Ticker shows weight loss since I started the program in December..not since surgery!

I have noticed I am for the first time ever handlling the heat better than I ever have.
I keep waiting for how I used to feel in summers past but it hasent happend.
At a party this weekend I noticed people pouring with sweat.
I was very comfortable outside.
I am 50 going through menapause too but think I have found a natural supplement to help keep the hot flashes at bay.

Man... you will notice it in the wintertime... but as for summer... hot is hot girl. I am dieing just like everybody else! I run a little colder... not too much... like the a/c a little higher than before and always make sure I have a sweater just in case. I can tolerate higher heat than before because I am not sweating like I use to but hot is hot! :-)

I freeze all the time. I have to carry a blanket with me in the car on trips, and for the first time in my life, I wear socks to bed at night.
