I am grateful for ...
I wanted to share my list of things I am grateful for today...
I am grateful to have my health; my type 2 diabetes is resolved and my hemochromatosis is well managed thanks to my RNY.
I am grateful to have the love and support of my husband and children.
I am grateful that we still have a roof over our heads, food in the fridge, gas in the car and the lights are on.
I am grateful to have friends that care about us.
I am grateful to have a quality of life that allows me to walk miles, do yard work or clean house all day.
I am grateful that my mother and my husband's parents are still with us.
I am grateful that my sons have found the loves of their lives and have been warmly embraced by their newly extended families.
I am grateful that G-d is watching over my nephew and niece as they usher a new life into the family.
What are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful for my regained health and avoiding the path to diabetes that I was on pre-RNY
My husband is alive and cancer free even though he has to deal with hernias constantly.
I'm grateful that I am cancer free.
I'm grateful that my mother who is fighting lung cancer is still with us and still lives independently next door.
I'm grateful that my children are healthy, happy, have special people in their lives and that they have good jobs and own their homes.
I'm grateful to have a great job that I love and I make a very good salary and have good benefits.
I'm grateful that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that one day I'll be reunited with all my family in Heaven!
I'm very blessed! Alice

I am looking forward to life changing WLS next month. Nervous but excited and hopeful.
I have a wondeful husband and two wonderful adult children who are very supportive.
I have a great job, though it's tough standing on my feet all day now,and I work with wonderful people.
I have a nice home, a good church and good family and friends.
I have a loving God who cares for me and watches over everyone I love.
I also have the support and knowledge of people on OH, Thank you all.

Jackie,
Thanks for sharing your list... As you mentioned, the fact that you have not had surgery doesn't mean that your journey has not started...
Wishing you all the best,

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Mac and the folks in Greenville who helped put me on this path and have given me health and happiness.
I am over the moon that my sons have grown into the men of God that I hoped and prayed they would eventually become.
I am most thankful that God answers prayers and one of those was answered in the form of David who waltzed into my life nearly 8 months ago and continues to celebrate life with me.
I am grateful that I have discovered life and all the happiness and heartache that it holds. For way to long I was content to sorta glide through on autopilot - never feeling or functioning because it was to painful (physically and EMOTIONALLY).
