Any other DSers here?

I mainly go to the Duodenal Switch board but stop by here sometimes.  I don't ever seem to see anyone with the DS listed as their surgery.
I'm very pleased with my revision to DS and just wonder if there are any other DSers here in NC?  Come out, come out, whever you are!

It's nice to you see you here. There actually are a few DSr's here. AngelaP is one but she just started a new job and isn't as active on OH as she used to be. That said, I see her regularly and I'm happy to report that she's doing wonderfully with her DS and is just delighted with her results. 

She's truly a wonderful person, so I hope that you'll be able to connect with her sometime.

That's good to hear that Angela is doing well! I miss seeing her on the DS board.  I wish I was more outgoing so that I would meet up with her.

Hi Tabitha!

I don't really post here or on the DS boards,(I mostly just lurk and learn)  but I'm in the process of getting approved for the DS. I meet with my surgeon again on Tuesday and then we'll be submitting to insurance. I'm incredibly excited about it!

That's great!  I went to Dr. Enochs about my revision and although I liked him, I found out late into it that he was going to revise me to an ERNY, not a full DS so I switched surgeons.  I don't think that would be a problem with a first-time surgery, he just didn't want to mess with my pouch and I wanted that thing gone because it was causing me problems.
It will be nice to have another NC'er with the DS!  Keep in touch and let me know how things are going. I think you're making a great choice!    :-)

DS'er here - well haven't had the surgery yet but just waiting for the surgeon & office to get their heads together.

I hope everything starts moving for you soon!  Waiting sucks!

I rarely come to the NC forum since there are almost never any DS posts.   I've seen you over on the DS forum tho.

I'm still pre-op and pre-date.   Trying to get that date!!

Hi Becky! I recognize you too from the DS board!
I went from waiting to my date to having such a fast approaching date that it made my head spin! I was approved and scheduled extremely fast...probably for the best, less time for me to feel anxious about it.   :-)   hope yours happens soon!
