I am trying to find a new PCP before my surgery (my current one is an hour away) and I am looking for suggestions.  I live in Charlotte near CMC-Mercy and Presby and would like someone convenient to my area.

My main requirement is tha tthe doctor be the type to really listen when I talk.  Also, a good diagnostician.  Finally, it would be helpful if they had experience in aftercare for WLS patients.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Nothing is better than a personal recommendation!

I suggest Cotswold family medicine. Dr. Bonner is the best there. He is very compassionate and listens well. He was very supportive during my surgery process....I miss him.  If you cant see Dr Bonner, Dr Jain is good too, she was on maternity leave but she should be back by now. Plus Dr Kuwada did my surgery too, they worked very well together.  I hope this helps.

My Surgeon is also Dr Kuwada.  My PCP is in Huntersville not sure that is close enough but I really like her a lot.  She is *****commended Dr K to me for the surgery.  Her name is Dr Temple Day
