NC support groups

I am a post op patient (RNY on 3/16/09) and am currently living in MA where my surgery was done. However, I am getting married in Oct and will be moving to Charlotte. I have lived in Charlotte before but I consider that my "former" life. I was miserable and I associate that with the extra 60 pounds i used to have on me. So im about 60 pounds down, and continuing on this path, but since I am moving at a time when i will not even be 1 yr out yet I am definitely going to need a support group. So, my question is are there any free support groups in the Charlotte area, particularly N. Charlotte/ Huntersville area...a group that you dont have to be a patient of the surgeon whos group it is. I'd also like to meet some people around my age who have been though the WLS or are in the processing of considering WLS...i feel like it helps me to surround myself with others who have gone and are going though the same thing as me, and i dont really know a whole lot of ppl in the area even though I did live there once. Anyways, if anyone is part of or knows of a good support group i would definitely appreciate the heads up. Thanks!
