You are definitely an inspiration.  I kept hearing about couch 2 5k  and 8k etc.  Well, I looked into it and am doing it.  I am in my first week of couch to 5k.  Real early stages here but it is good.  I hope to be able to keep up with it.  I had a total hip replacement done  in 2000.  I had gotten horrible arthritis due to the trama I received in my hip from a car accident.  Anyway,  I really haven't done much in the way of exercise since then.  I was always so worried about damaging my new hip.  It felt so much better than the old one and I didn't want to screw that up.  So,  fast forward to now.  I am finally getting to where I can jog a bit.  I was never a runner.  EVER!  I hated it.  but, in small doses I seem to be getting the hang of it.  If it weren't for people like you talking about stuff, I would never have even attempted it.  So, thanks.

Hi Sandy,
Please take it easy in fact sometimes I will march and I know my jogging does not look like the average jogger.
As Kelly said at least we are moving.
As far as being an inspiration the way I look at is if I can touch one person with my struggles and victories with weight loss then I feel I have done a good thing.
I feel I have fought my way out of the grave which I feel at 680lbs I was going in that direction.
On Oh I am very comfortable to share my own journey with others that understand.
God bless you and everyone on this board.
