Check it out! I had to share. I am so excited.
By the way, I am going to need the length mended a little. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to get alterations?

Hi Jamie,
You are going to knock of his and everyone else's socks! I can just see you now.
I have a seamstress that does a great job, but she's near my home in Raleigh... Up near RDU. She's good and reasonable though... If you want her information, let me know.
Of course, I'll be looking forward to photos.
I think we'll have to find some fabulous event to attend together so that we can all get dressed up to the nines. How fun!
Let me know if you want the information for Jenny's shop.
Warmly,
Barbara

We should have a formal gathering. Wearing a formal dress is so exciting! A regular size dress! Being able to choose a dress instead of just take what fits is the most amazing feeling.
Thanks so much!
Hi Jamie,
I'll get Jenny's information to you PM and she's turned on a dime for me in the past, but I generally give her a couple of weeks. You may find that she'll need to nip and tuck here and there, but you will find that her prices are very reasonable. I just took her a formal dress that I may wear for my son's wedding next year had had to be reconstructed. I'm smaller in hips than I am in the chest/rib cage and she added a couple of inches to the bodice, hemmed the skirt and adjusted the hem of the sleeves on the jacket that has beading on it... all for about $55.00. What a deal!
We'll have to put our heads together about a formal event. Maybe we can do something fancy for the holidays this year. Hmmmm....
