1 year before and after in PICTURES
You know, my daughter commented about how much more 'comfortable' I seemed to be in my own skin when I was heavier than I am now. I sort of think it's because when we lose the weight, we are left with 'scars' of the weight we carried for all of those years. I know that I while I 'knew' that I'd be likely to have some excess skin issues, I hoped against hope that I would not... Of course, I do. However, I'm becoming somewhat more comfortable with the new me. I wish that for you too.

You look so good and happy in your one year picture. Jackie
It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

Lisa - I think you look fabulous and you are glowing, and I agree that you look so much happier in your current picture. Try not to get hung up on comparing yourself to others. I'm 18 months out now and after several "stalled" months, I've gotten back to basics and have actually started to lose again with not a lot of extra effort. I'm just upping the activity and trying to remember to stick with lower calorie snacks. My pouch still works wonderfully, but I find that I was eating probably too many calories by eating small amounts all day long. I've started calculating the Weigh****chers points for everything and that has helped me with the weight loss basics of calories in versus calories out. Another thing I think many of us struggle with is the motivation factor - we're all so much happier and more comfortable in our skins after our substantial weight loss that it's hard to stay as stringent with efforts. For me I think that after having several of my more "relaxed eating" months, I'm more ready and able now to do what it takes, so it all works out in the end.
