Prayers for ldhhump -Leslie.
Please say a special prayer for Leslie (ldhhump). Her and her daughter were in a wreck this past Friday and was air lifted to Missions Memorial in Asheville. She had a compound fracture that severed an artery in one leg. She had to have surgery on that. They put a rod, plate and 8 screws. Her other leg is broken and she will be having 2 pins put in on Tuesday 7/21.
My prayers go out for Leslie and her daughter. Thank you for letting us know. I hope they will recovery quickly and safely. Jackie

Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Leslie is in good spirits. The surgery on her other leg may be tomorrow or Wednesday as they are not sure at this time. Courtney was not hurt in the wreck, I realized I did not tell that part in the original post. We thank God for the way He has worked in all this, for having a nurse on the scene to wrap her leg to help the bleeding and for the surgeon who has been really great. Thank you for your prayers as she has a long road to recovery.

Just seen Leslie at the hospital. they finally brought her to the room around 6:00. She is in okay spirits. Glad she is alive and that her daughter did not get hurt. She is afraid this will cause a setback with her weight loss. Not really eating a whole lot. They have her on a mechanical soft diet. Everybody can relate to this. She keeps telling them she can't have anything bu****er and Crystal Light. She keeps telling them that she needs to take her Vitamins and she needs lots of protien. The nurse today was good and really seemed to listen to what she needed and listened when she explained the gastric bypass guidelines and concerns.
