A great big wow for me!!!!

Hi all...long time no post....Well to start with I am 10 months post op and all together...(including pre-op diet) I have lost 128 lbs...I never had that much support throughout this journey other than my sister..(who always supported me)..She lost 70 lbs about 3 years ago and has done a great job of keeping it off...She went from a size 16-18 to a size 9...when I had this surgery she kept telling me and everyone else that she was NOT going to let me get smaller than her...I was 264 the day of surgery...anyway..the other day I put my size 10-12 jeans on and within the hour they were getting kinda loose on me...Later that day I went to her house and she had on a nice looking pair of Levi jeans..and I said let me try them on and she looked at me like HELL NO...lol...I said please.. so she took them off and LO AND BEHOLD...they were tight but they were on....she just poked her lip out and said well I am gaining weight anyway and then she walked off...That is my biggest WOW moment since my weight loss journey...sorry so long but I just wanted to share this with all my fellow weight lossers...by the way I am currently at 169...following a 2 month stall...Thanx for reading....LUV 2 ALL!!!!!

My younger and taller sister who I really adore had this surgery nearly two years before I did. She looks great but weighs 20 pounds now more than I do. She is supposed to though because she is really like 4 or more inches taller than I am. But she sees me as weighing less now than her and 'winning'. I think we both won big time because both of us topped the scales at over 300 pounds before we got our surgeries. Now both of us are so much healthier and so much more active. I guess I just have the advantage of being 12 years older and having a different perspective. I don't compete with her but she always thinks I do. In spite of the things that happen between sisters it is still good to have them LOL! Congrats on wearing her size now!
