waiting approval

had my  decicion visit today now said i have to wait on approval from medicaid has anyone else here have medicaid and long was there wait for approval took thanks  joni zamora

Hello it take medicaid about 2 weeks 2 let you know a answer. I had my result visit  and June and my Dr. sent off my paper  work  and  my  was  denied  because of my 6 months diet plan & exercise plan. But I'm and the processing of get my information together. But i will pray u get a good anwser.

i have medicaid and had my answer with in a week. i have also heard some other people say that theirs took longer. Keep calling the insurance company to check the status and don't give up

This is the hardest part of the whole process - WAITING!!! Make friends with the insurance rep at your surgeons office and be extra nice to the insurance reps that answer your calls. You'll get there.

In the mean time - start practicing for life after surgery - no drinking with your meals - walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip
