1 year + post op and not losing weight
with God all things are possible.
I feel your pain. I'm in the stall from HELL.(really no weight change - since February) I really don't think it's the end of my journey. What does the tape measure show? I know things are rearranging for me (almost as we speak) and sizes have dropped once again.
I decided to go back to basics. Making sure I was keeping a log of everything that went in my mouth. Making sure that I ate my protein and drank my water. And striving for exercise at least 5 days a week. Guess what - I had gotten really lax on some essential basics.
Today is "rededication" day. I've dug out my South Beach books because for me it didn't take a PhD to realize that I was consuming way to many carbs. Too many coffees and not enough waters. My protein needed a little tweaking. And well there's a difference between an active lifestyle and actual exercise. So armed with all of this information - it's back to basics for me. My one year is quickly approaching and my biggest desire is to be in onderland. Wish me luck.
You can do this and you're not alone. I'm going to PM you some stall busting suggestions that I got some time ago from a friend on here - hope they help.

My program recommends an 800 to 1000 calories a day when you are trying to lose weight, so it might be that you can adjust the caloric intake down somewhat. Then, the thing that really helps me when I'm trying to lose is using www.mydailyplate.com to log what I consume. It really helps me to focus on what I'm consuming the breakdown. When I consume more protein proportionate to my carbs and fats, I do better in the weight loss department. Like Iris, I've found that following a south beach type 'diet' is really helpful too.
The other thing I do when I'm trying to lose is to be sure and wear my pedometer. In the same way the logging my food helps remind me of what I want and need to do regarding intake, the pedometer helps me with making sure that I'm moving enough. I try to be sure that I get in at least 10K steps a day.
I hope that these suggestions help.
