Prayers are always appreciated!

Good for you for readily making the adjustment. I feel just like you. If something upsets my routine, my good habits are threatened.

Keep making those plans to work around he (10) days out of the gym! Hopefully the time will

pass by quickly.

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Valerie, thank you so much for your posts....you are inspirational  and insightful, as always.  I enjoy reading what you have to say!

Glad Barb and Meredith made it home safely!

(((HUGS))) to Iris.....both my parents are gone....I really miss my mom....my dad, not so much....be strong, and know we're here for you.

Ann, you are shrinking away, girl!  Good for you!

I have been fretting a little this week, thinking about  my  upcoming surgiversary.  My 1 year follow up appt is next Thursday, and while I know I"ve done well, I'm worried that I haven't done "well enough".....my BMI is still "overweight" and I'm wearing a size 12, which I'm totally grateful for, don't get me wrong...but it seems like every other patient of my doc's was a size 8 by the time their year was up....so I'm having a hard time evaluating my success at this point.  I still feel so fat!  Ugh!

Lisa, I just looked at your ticker and you are so close to your goal! Good for you! Hang in there!

I understand your feeling about your appt. It's hard not to compare ourselves to others but the amazing thing about this journey is that it is just as unique as we are in that no 2 people are the same.

None of us have the same medical conditions, the same backgrounds, the same lifestyles, etc. so comparing ourselves to others is like comparing apples to oranges. I think the comparisons helps us find our similarities and helps us to realize we share the same struggles, but our individuality and lifestyles change the dynamics of those things we have in common to make them unique to us.

I do not know how to overcome feeling fat cause I still feel the same!  We all will need an intervention to overcome that one!

Your journey is an encouragement to all those coming behind you so continue to share with us and enjoy your accomplishments!
