Medcost Insurance

Is there anybody on here who has "Medcost"? If so, I need some help if possible...Having a hard time finding a psychologist/psychiatrist who will do my evaluation for my lap band surgery. If u know of anyone, please email me @ [email protected]

I have Medcost and I am having my procedure done in Virginia.  I had my psych evaluation done there, but I did find one in Fayetteville that does except medcost. I don't know that you would want to travel to Fayetteville, but it is not that far from you.  Here is her information just in case you are interested.  Cynthia Hardwick, 103 Fountainhead Lane, Fayetteville. (910) 485-1819.  All they were going to require was a referral from the surgeon.  Hope this helps.

Don't have an answer for you but just wanted to say hey. I don't know if she will take Medcost or not but my psych eval was done in Louisburg with Lisa Driver. I have medcost and had lapband.  I called Dr. Moran's office(Raleigh) and asked them who they used for their phyc evals.  (919) 781-0815.  They recommended a great guy.  He was located right off of I-40 and the eval took about 15 minutes and that was it.  Best wishes!

I'm so sorry, but I have looked all over in my paperwork to see which psyc. dr I saw, but couldn't find anything.  When you call you can ask how do they do their evals.  Ask them how many visits it takes and things like that...and make sure they take your insurance!
