Waiting for Approval

I completed my 6 mths supervised visits yesterday and my physican is faxing all my records to my surgeon.  Then my surgeon will forward to my insurance company for approval.  I am so nervous and excited at the same time.  I will be heart broken if I am denied. I have meet all my insurance and surgeon requirements, so I don't know why I would be denied.  I pray for an answer soon.

I think that the waiting is probably the hardest part of this whole journey.

Wishing you short waiting and quick approval.

Christy keep the faith and good for you for completing all your requirments.
Now the wating game begins.
Dont get freaked if you get denied the first time around that can happen and it happend to me.
It was over something very simple and was easily resolved.
Hang in there.

Welcome to the hardest part of this journey. For the past 6 months you've been active in getting to this point. Once you get approved you'll be active in getting everything ready for surgery and beyond (getting your protein powder, buying your supplements, nesting in general etc.) But right now you're at someone elses mercy. It's hard. I don't deal well with things that are completely out of my control and that's exactly how I felt at that point.

Focus on little things that will help prepare you for your life after WLS - not drinking with your meals, chewing and chewing and chewing , and incorporating exercise into your day. While these things won't make the time pass any faster - at least they'll prepare you.

Good Luck!!!
