I am home from the hospital

Thanks.  I know all will go great for you.  I did well all morning pre-op.. right until they were taking me down the final hall.  I got a little teary but the anesthesiologist was great and promised me some "margaritas soon".  They were all great.. and before I knew it I was in recovery.  I never really felt too bad after.  And they really took good care of me.

Kelly, Good to hear form you!!!!I am so thankful that you are doing well!!! I hope I can do half as well as you have!!! Still not much pain!!! Sounds like you just getting back into your everyday life!!! So your going to the gym????Is it to soon???? Don't over do it!!!  Congrats again girl!!! I am getting back but I don't have the energy that I had before.  I am sure that will get better now I can drink more than clear liquids.   Definitly no pain.  But be careful in the heat.  I was walking yesterday afternoon with my son.  We were going up hill and I got tired so fast.  Lucky we were going back to the car. =)

Hi Kelly, I am just out of surgery and i thought my bottom pouch was the only one that sounded like thunder. I have my DH and kids laughing. I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Keep us posted on your success!

If you only gained 4 lbs from the hospital, you're lucky.  I gained about 10 I think.  It's jus****er weight though and it comes off pretty quick.  It's from the fluids they pump you with during your stay in the hospital.  Take it easy.  Don't try to lift stuff, no matter how good you think you feel.  Sip your water and walk around the house as much as possible.  If you can walk up and down your block a few times a day, that's even better.  Welcome to the losers' bench!
