closest support group to the mountains?

I know there is not a support group (that I can find) here in the mountains.  So what about north-west Charlotte?  Hickory?

There is a support group Called ANGELS that is thru the Mission program. You can call 213-0000 and tell them you want to go to the support group for surgical weight loss. They will tell you where it is and what time to be there. It is at St Joseph in the cafeteria some. It is like the first Tuesday in the month.

I had surgery at Frye/Hickory surgical clinic and anyone is welcome to that group.

There is also one in Haywood County thru Dr. Champion from Atlanta. you can check his website for more information. www. Drchampion.com and click on support groups.

As you know there is not a group in Henderson County that I know of.

How many people does it take?  I think we just need one more person and we will have a group!

I've been trying to find the schedule for the Mission group with no success.  Do you know where I can find it?

I'm game if we can find anyone else in H'ville that is having/had surgery. I meet with some girls in Asheville on occasion but staying close to home is preferable. PM me your email address and I will forward Mission's schedule to you. I think I have an email from them in my inbox.

I just know one person  in Leicester who is 6 weeks out and there is 1 other person that I have chatted with but I forget where she lives.

I have emailed someone with Angels something or other about when the group meets in Asheville but haven't heard anything back.
