Couch 25k - Am I Really Done???What's Next???
Completed week 9 day 3 this morning...Am I really done???
YEAH!!! I learned...
Trying to exercise without a bra can be dangerous!
A good pair of running shoes will go along is well worth the money
Trying to look out the window, scratch your back, and fiddle with your ipod can lead to a close
call with the floor!
Getting up off the couch is not easy but he'll still be there for a chat once in a while
I am my own worst enemy! I can do ALL things through God who strengthens me!
Moleskin is the best thing I ever found to keep a blister under wraps
I already knew I hate exercising, BUT I do like running
My exercising can help me avoid mindless eating; I have been thinking twice about what I put in my mouth
The slowest 45 minutes of my day is when I am exercising!
And lastly, I need to eat more protein! The scale throughout the program and my lab results reflected the truth - when I eat I do not focus on protein first.
So I lost a total of 25lbs since starting the program and I am still motivated to exercise (I said motivated - I still don't like it )
So, I'll rest tomorrow and power walk Sunday, but then...come closer........I have no clue what to do next!!! Any suggestions? What are you doing to move?
Reading someone else post on their progress with couch25K is how I got started so your ideas may spark my next endeavor!

BTW... i swing back and forth... one day treadmill, next day free weights, next day treadmill, next day free weights... I do this at home most day (i no longer have a guest room... i took out hte bed and put in a treadmill, free weights and a weight bench. Oh yeah, Stan's drums are in there too.
I also go to a gym when i have time and i have a trainer i use every other week... I do what i can... but i too HATE to excercise. But let's face it... if we grew up enjoying excerise and doing it regularly, we wouldn't be needing WLS...
I like the trainer every other week plan. I have not done any weight lifting for years so incorporating them would be a good idea now too. Hmm, thanks for the ideas!

I switch up working out.
Like today I will do the elliptical and rowing machine tomorrow couch 2 5k and my bike and lift weights.
I heard when lifting you should give your body a break so I lift every other day and sometimes every three days.
Also in those lift days I do 2 sets of 15 wall push ups 2 sets of 15 side stretches with the band just increased it up to 3 sets .on the weight bench I do 2 sets of 15 lifting 28lbs 20 sit ups on bench and 2 sets of 15 leg raises.
When starting with weights always go slow and dont add to much weight when you start.
