Passing The Torch
This morning I went to UNC with Sharon to go to the info class on gastric by pass.
I got a wonderful surprize Patrisha the chaplin that helped me so much before surgery showed up in the lobby a little bird from OH told her I was going to be there.
Thank You Hope that ment alot to me to see Patrisha.
BTW I finally got to meet Hope!!!!!
As always it was great to see Dr. Farrel, his nurse wanted to know what I was doing there and .I told her it was the only way I could get to see Dr. Farrel LOL
I hope that in some way I was able to help someone today to make the choice to have wls to improve thier life and health.

Hi Annie,
I'm happy you got to see Patricia as well. I know she means a great deal to you. I think she's a very warm and lovely person.
It was also wonderful to meet you Hope; you were wearing all pink just as you said you would. Don't forget to send me infomation about the WLS information sessions at the Marriott.
This information session finalized and solidified in my mind and heart the decision I've made to have weight loss surgery. WLS will better my life and health in countless ways.
Maybe your talking to the woman who sat next to Hope at the table convinced her to have the surgery as well.
I have a very positive first impression of Dr. Farrell. If I'm allowed to have my RNY surgery at UNC, he is the surgeon who will perform my surgery. I think he's way more than just a "plumber" as he described himself at today's session.
