ATTENTION: Dog&Cat Lovers, Birds too!
I am an avid Dog lover. Sometimes I think my dog is the only one that understands me. LoL. When I have a bad day she makes it better. She is beautiful, sweet, and the best friend I've ever had. I know that sounds crazy, but dogs really can become part of your family. I have a cat also, but because she was raised by my dog she is another dog as well. Full of life , love and ready to cuddle, however, she knows her place because my dog is my favorite, i leave the cat to my husband and son.
First There is LuLu the Border Collie She will be 3 on November 7th. It's highly funny her and my dad share a birthday. She is tricolored and absolutely adorable.
Then there is Kittles the brown/gray tabby cat. She'll be 1 in July but she thinks she's a dog. She's a wonderful pet except for her love of my makeup brushes and eating them lol.
I was just starting this thread for everyone to tell me about their wonderful pets and how much they mean to you, what kind are they, how old are they.
This is just a little dedication to our furry friends.

I have two spoiled rotten Rat terriors,Wittles and Pebbles. They have been life savers to me since my kids grew up and away from home. They are sitting in my lap now as I type. They do give unconditional love and are always so excited to see me. They never miss a chance to make me smile. I love hearing about everyone's pets and seeing pictures. I'll try to post some of my girls' pics. Jackie
It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

AWWWWW a Rottweiler how I love them so much.
I grew up with Rottweilers. When my mom and stepdad married when I was 5 They got Rocky the German Rottweiler. He was the biggest teddy bear you ever met and he was huge. I grew up with him and just loved him so much. He died when I was 15 due to hip dysplasia that came on him Suddenly it was very sad.
To replace him, my parents got JoJo the Rottweiler. He was the biggest baby and a total sweetheart. We lost him 3 years ago to Cancer. How sad. I think my parents have given up on dog ownership for awhile, to get over these 2 huge losses.
However, I absolutely love Rottweilers and hope to one day have my own.

My friend told me a few weeks ago I was a REAL EARTH MOM LOL
About two years ago I raised a baby squirrel and released him back into the wild.
Now my squrel and his friends come to eat nuts I put out for them most everyday.
I am also owned by two wonderful English bulldogs name Arthur and Guienevere.
Saved a kitten 7 years ago and his name is Mr. Tink.
Now am a very proud owner of Noel a Congo African Grey.
When I married my secong husband in 2003 I am sure he did not know he was going to be living with a female Dr. Doolittle.
Animals fill my life with love and always give unconditinal love back.
One of my favorite books is Animals Speak my Ted Andrews the book gives information about what different animals mean.
Also a few months ago I saved a male cardnal named Red we were able to release him back to the wild and words can never descibe what joy I felt to see Red take flight.

BTW since this is OH since my surgery I can walk my dogs could not of done that without wls

On the squirrel bit, my grandmother started saving them when I was little when she rescued 3 out of a tree in South Carolina after Hurricane Hugo. She brought them home and they grew up and did their own thing. However amazing that they will come back and eat out of your hand and all.
There is a guy that cuts down trees in our town called Mark Andrews and he's done alot of work for my grandfather. And he knows anytime he finds a baby squirrel to call my grandma lol.
So last year she got 3....one didn't make it. So it was 2. My little boy named the boy Buddy and the girl she never really had a name. Anyways, Buddy and her grew up, and went and got boyfriends and girlfriends and now they bring them back to the porch to eat lol.
Highly hilarious that buddy knocks on the back door and refuses the normal pecan dinner because he prefers peanuts. It's a sight to see my little boy run in the kitchen and say Nanny , Nanny, buddy is knocking on the back door again. It's hilarious.
The other day my grandfather went out and sat on the back porch with some lance cheese and peanut butter crackers and buddy jumped in his lap, needless to say buddy has a new fav. snack. lol
Gotta love squirrels.

Sweet Pea (8 year old chihuahua)

My DH has a Goffins ****atoo named Tiny that is 25.5 years old. We got him when he was 6 months old.
My son has a 17 year old cat named Gizmo.
My youngest daughter has a 1.5 year old cat named Artemus.
and My Police office daughter has a Black and Tan coon hound mix named Whisper.

Ok my turn to chime in!!!! LOL! I have always been a city girl but my friends back in San Diego and my family here now say I have a small version of "Green Acres"... Funny how things change when you have a Man! LOL!
My favorite pet is my Daschund puppy (don't tell the others, I'll deny it all the way! lol!)... His name is "Sir Cooler Honey Sugar Boy" but we call him "Cooler". He is 7 months old, and needs CONSTANT SUPERVISION! LOL! He's funny, makes me laugh and sometimes I laugh so hard I cry... He is learning how to howl and I laugh every time, it's sooooo cute!
Ok, on to the others... I have 2 indoor cats, "Nibby" and "Maddy"... They are crazy and know how to make me laugh too. Maddy is an escape artist, so we have to watch her... Always entertained at my house! lol! Then I have 1 outdoor cat, his name is "Marvin". I have a short story as to how he got us... Marvin was a baby ferral cat and always came to the back door wanting food. We didn't feed him at all because I didn't want another cat to take care of. Anyway, Maddy (the escape artist) got outside one rainy night and we couldn't find her. Marvin was at the back door and I told him that if he found Maddy and brought her home in the morning we would take care of him and make sure he had food to eat. We sold out!!! LOL!!! Anyway, that next morning we got up and there were Maddy and Marvin at the back door - soaking wet and hungry. So Marvin reminds us often and he is part of the family now also. Whew!
We have 2 ****ateils, "Petie and Tweeter", they love to sing sing sing... and some fish in the aquarium. We have 8 hens and 2 roosters - "Laverne & Shirley, Thelma & Louise, Lucy & Ethel, Jorge (a rooster) and Rachel and Ray (the other rooster)... We have 1 more, her name is Natalie, she is one of the "Dixie Chicks", we haven't gotten the other 2 yet, probably next week... ugh! MORE CHICKENS!!! Oh, we have 2 Pekin Ducks "Pebbles and Bam Bam" and some Koi fish in the pond also.... Ok, I'm going to read this and make sure I got them all... Can't leave anyone out ya know...
Yep all accounted for. If you're still reading this you're more nuts than I thought... lol! I hope you have a great day! Thanks again for the post, it was fun bragging about our animals!!!!
