I am ordering my Unjury, but does anybody have any suggestions for good protein shakes that I can buy at GNC or a store that I can go to before my order gets here?
Thank you so much!!
Sharon

I had my pre-op yesterday and was told to get something called Isopure at GNC. It's kinda like Gatorade but has 40 gms of Protein.

I totally love EAS Myoplex original.  It has 42 gms of protein in 17 fl oz.   It takes me all morning to drink it.  It is my breakfast and snack.  It is chocolatey deliciousness.  I drink no others.  I buy it at Sam's club or Walmart.  It is not clear so it will have to wait until you can have it post op.

Hi Sharon the best of luck to you on your big day and excited about you starting your new journey.
I am almost two years out and work on increasing my protien every day.
I have found some Atkins advatage shakes at Wal mart and Harris teeter and most mornings have one along with 1/2 cup cottage cheese.
The shake has 15 grams of protien and the cottage cheese has 15 grams so this starts my day off with a good amount of protien.

I use alot of the New Whey Bullets and they have 42 grams of protein so I just mix half of the bullet with either a Fuze or water with CL and my favorite is the fruit punch and then mix the other half for the afternoon because your body can only handle about 30 grams of protein at a time.

I got the protein bullets.  I was told to get the isopure too but it's more expensive than the bullets.  I was also told to go to bariatriceating.com for a lot of advice... I haven't yet.  But I wouldn't worry about the shakes.. Even if you order it should be here in a week.. My dr only allows clear liquids (bullets, isopure) on the first week no shakes.

Isopure has no sugar and no carbs and 1 serving gives you about 50 grams of protein. there are places online that sell it cheaper than GNC. As far as the bullets Ive tried all flavors and they are all nasty!!!  Isopure has better flavor I like the chocolate one.

Thank you to everyone that has replied to my protein shake suggestions question. I got alot of information! I guess I won't bother ordering the Unjury, I did get some stuff at GNC, but am definitely going to taste test some of the other suggestions that everyone made! I can't seem to find the bullets though, GNC looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for them.
