Eaiting on a date. Can't wait to get this over with.I also can't wait to see the new me.I have really cleaned up my act. No sodas lord who would have thought I could give them up.Sugar is no more, now the only things I have is coffee and cigs. Coffee is easy sometime I just go without it because I just don't have time to.And I really don't miss it. Cigs that whole lot different. But guess what that too is just about gone out of my life.I have only brought 2 packs this week and they have last me for over 3 or 4 days, besides they don't taste good anymore. So by the time I get my date I will be free and clean hopeful and a few pounds lighter.

Keep up the good work. I was absolutely addicted to CocaCola and I really don't have them or even crave them anymore. I do drink decaf coffee on a fairly regular basis and I also enjoy unsweet decaf iced tea w/splenda... But even that isn't nearly as sweet as it used to be.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to stop smoking, but I know that smoking can seriously compromise your recovery so I applaud your efforts to stop.

Wishing you continued success,

Barbara

Hi Lisa,
Good that you are getting things under control. I know how hard it is.

I quit smoking using Chantix. Well worth the money! I never needed to use more than the first months worth, and able to quit after a week of taking it. You REALLY need to quit because Pender does a nicotine test! Did one on me. He will scrap your surgery if you are positive.

Thank you.I know Pender will that's why I'm trying so hard. I made it 12 hours clean the other day but I fell off the wagon again. My Dr. took me off of Chantix because it was causing me other health problems. But I had a new box that hadn't been open so I started taking it again. I just hope by the time I fini**** I will be able to quit for good.

It sounds like you have been working very hard to do the right thing. Congratulations on taking care of yourself. Good luck on quitting smoking. I am working on giving up my diet soft drinks. Drinking more water and diet green tea. Keep up the good work. Jackie
It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

It sounds like you are doing great!  Cigs are hard!! Believe me I know.  My huband took chantix and it really helped.  He put them down after smoking 20 years and didn't even what them.  I was amazed.  I stopped cold turkey when I wanted to get pregant.. I couldn't take anything and it was hard.  But you can do it.  Just get up every morning and tell yourself you are going to make good choices... (I used pray and it helped.)

Good luck,
Kelly
