Jacksonville Meetup

You were definitely missed.  I had a good time and would do it again next month if everyone else wanted to.  I enjoyed it more than going to a restaurant.  We had more time to talk and stuff.  I hope you feel better soon.  Take care.

I'm so sorry I couldn't come.  I really wanted to be there.  Paul and I went to the Greenville meet-up.  I really, really needed for Paul to be there to talk to the other guys who've already done the surgery.  Paul has a tentative surgery date in July, pending insurance approval.  He found a kindred spirit, Jim, at the Greenville meet-up that he can talk to and ask questions, guy-to-guy, about guy stuff.  I told Jim that he needed to tell Paul what he needs to do and needs to know, 'cause Paul won't listen to ME!  Paul will take inspiration and advice better from another guy.  If I tell him something, I'm just a nagging wife, ya know.

So, tell us all about how it went today!!  And can we do it again soon, so I can come too?!?  School gets out next week for the summer and I will have a LOT more time and freedom to visit with people and do what I wanna do!

We had a very good time.  It started at 11:30 and I guess people started to leave around 5:30 -ish.  It was a lot of fun and there was plenty to eat.  I think Jami was surprised.  She got some good stuff and seemed happy.  There was one girl, Jamie Lynn who came with her husband.  His name was Shannon and he was a very personable guy.  He got along well with women.  My husband came in towards the end.  He was out golfing.  Ann Marie didn't come as  her gall bladder was acting up and she was in pain.  We missed her.  But, Cindy, Melissa, Cathy, Jami, Jamie Lynn, Shannon came and I am glad of it. 
We will have to do it again.  I think we had more fun than we would have in a restaurant.  I liked the idea of meeting at a house.  It was especially easy because it was my house.  heh heh
You most definitely will have to come around more now that it is summer.  We should plan something.
