Completed week 6 day 3  this morning.

Hard to believe I am 2/3 done and jogging for 25 min straight! No more intervals, the rest of the time left is straight jogging. I have started liking the jogging so much that there is no 'off' days for me. I am jogging everyday!
Since starting the program I have lost 22 lbs!

Now I think something else helped too. I had been taking about 1000mcg of Biotin to help my hair.  I increased my dosage after getting a recommendation to take 5000mcg. When I purchased a new bottle, I noticed it says something about helping to metabolize fat. I am thinking the Biotin helped get the scale moving cause it was sure stuck. THANKS DALTON!

So what are you doing today to get your exercise in?

Hi Valerie,

Congratulations on your significant accomplishment and for taking up the mantle for this challenge. Even more so, congratulations on all of the changes you've been making leading to your phenominal 22 lbs weight loss. That's just fantastic!

I'm afraid that I'm still too much of a couch potato... I'm doing what I can to get one foot in front of the other these days.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow when we get to meet Shauna. I hope that she makes the trip okay after having open surgery. She's a real trojan!

See you soon my friend,

Thanks for the encouragement Barb!

You have several irons in the fire right now so I can understand how some days it i is all you can do to get one foot in front of the other. You are close in my thoughts and prayers.

See you in the morning!

Today is my rest day but I was totally shocked that I did jog for the required 8 minutes the other day OMG.
I think tomorrow I do the 20 minutes.
Boost me up when you see me at the Meetup tomorrow.
Yesterday when I was feeling very sad about Precious I did not want to do anything really wanted to stuff myself but I did not do that.
I made myself get up and do my home gym stuff and completed it.
BTW I just encreased my weights on my bench up to 28lbs.
I am doing 3 reps of 15 on my bench and then two sets of 15 with my 8lb weights on bicep curls.
Lee told me he can see my muscles in my arms and I like it LOL .
I am starting to go sleevless more and more and liking it but cant do it in public just around home.

Great progress Annie!

Wow, you are even lifting weights! The only thing I am doing is jogging. I can multi task in other areas, but so far I am a one-track exercise mind girl!

I gotta a big hug for you tomorrow! I told my hubby about Precious and he was even sad. Hang in there! Glad you turned to the home gym for some solace.

Be hugging you in a little while!

Hey Valerie -- I wanted to thank you for taking over this post.  I'm sorry I flaked out, but dealing with some health issues and I'm not in a very bright place in my life right now.  Trying to push through it, but some things are getting shoved to the wayside to help cope.

Hope to see you in Raleigh next time.
