Well we were going to call my baby grey Sam well long story short we now have a new name and we are going to call her .....Precious keeping in mind the breeder feels she is a girl and not to mention I am a big LOTR fan.
She gained more weight today  3.7 grams almost 4 grams.
BTW ia had salad for dinner with the beef Lee cooked and had a small stuck episode it was short lived and I am doing better.
I would rather except things for how they are than fooling myself into thinking all is well.

Hey Annie,

I know you are so proud of the new bird. African Greys can be taught to say a lot of things if you start working with her early.

My nutritionist says reheated meat is the hardest on WLS patients. When I heat food in the microwave I pu****er or chicken broth in the microwave for it to absord the liquid when reheating.

I hate that you didn't find Birdy. Have you tried to call around to the local vets offict to see if anyone has reported they found a bird. I was thinking about this the other day because at my vets office they have a bulletin board that has lost and found pets on it and I have seen birds on the board before.

Hi Tamera,
Thxs for the tip on the reheated meat.
There is not a day that goes by I dont think about my Birdy.
We both miss him terribly.
I have posted on my home owners web site.
Had a few calls and an emails but it was not my beloved Birdy.

The name is quite fitting! Sounds like she is eating and growing and happy with her new home.

Sorry you had a small episode with the meat. At least it was short lived.

Looking forward to some pictures of Precious...

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Awww, Precious!  I won't be able to hear her name without hearing a big of a hissss though!  LOL  But, I know how precious she must certainly be so how perfect.  :)  Sounds like she is doing really well.

Hate it that you are still having stuck episodes with meat.  Keep the papaya enzymes on hand...they have been a life saver for me on a couple of occasions.
