OT: Coming to a city near you? 2nd stop, Concord.

With our daughter's softball pursuits and travels, we just may be in a city near you this summer.  :)  Her travel coach mentioned their first tournament in Concord on Saturday, June 13th.

If I can coordinate the schedule, and ya'll wouldn't mind having dinner with a possibly dusty, sweaty, sunburnt family...  lol  Perhaps we will have an opportunity to meet this summer?!

I'm in Concord!  Several folks are not too far away.  Would be fun to meet some fellow OH'ers. 

Awww, Dena, I would love to meet you in person!  Hopefully I will know something more this Sunday and perhaps we can get something pulled together.  I may be fooling myself into thinking I can get a moment away from the ball field during these tournaments, but hey, I'm sure gonna try!  ;)  Will let you know...

I am in Concord although my address is Charlotte (stupid reason) but I live right by Concord Mills.  I am just one week post op so no dinners for me, but if there is a group that will meet somewhere I would love to come meet everyone.

Sandy,  I will see if I can't find out the tournament schedule this weekend and post about it on Sunday evening/Monday morning.  :)  Congratulations on your surgery!  How are you feeling?

Thanks for asking, I am feeling really pretty good, I started puree yesterday but could only eat one meal (1/4 C of egg) then had shakes for the other 2 meals.  I think my tummy is still a little swollen from the surgery but hopefully it will continue to go down.

Well, I used to live about 45 minutes away from Concord - now about 3 hours.  But, seeing as how it is on a Saturday and would be in the late afternoon/early evening, I would be able to jet on down.  I would love to see some of the people that I have already met again, and would definitely jump at the opportunity to meet some of you that I haven't gotten to meet yet. 

Let us know what the plans are!   I think a meet up around Concord Mills would be fantastic!!
